Rail-Bridge has Filed a New Domestic Per Diem Policy March 1, 2006 - Please be advised that, due to the growing premium being placed on “K” Line equipment, Rail-Bridge has filed a new domestic per diem policy with the U.I.I.A., which will become effective on April 1, 2006. This new policy, as described below, will become part of a revised Rail-Bridge Rules Circular that will be mailed to you shortly. APPENDIX B: THE RAIL-BRIDGE CORPORATIONIn the absence of any specific Agreement with the Motor Carrier the following free time shall be allowed and the following use charges assessed the Motor Carrier when equipment is in interchange for DOMESTIC shipments pertaining to movements loaded to or discharged from train services arranged by THE RAIL BRIDGE CORPORATION DIVISION. TABLE OF CHARGES To summarize, we're adding a day of free time at each end, while more realistically pricing our per diem charge thereafter.
