E-Mailing of Shipping Instructions
to our IMC Customers

May 11, 2009 - Please note that,effective today, RBC is offering our IMC customers the added option, systemwide, of e-mailing shipping instructions, in addition to faxing them, as we've asked in the past. This new feature will include both hazardous and non-hazardous domestic shipments, provided the appropriate listing requirements are met. We are requiring that all billing sent via e-mail show the following Subject Line: "Rail Billing for (Container#), (Booking#), (Origin Location). Our staff asks further that you don't submit billing via e-mail without copying them in. Select here for our customer contact sheet to familiarize everyone with the correct people to send e-mails.

On another matter, we are building up alot of empty inventory, both 40's and 45's, at Denver. We need your help to get these boxes back to Long Beach and Oakland. Please let us know if you need to discuss pricing or service issues on this Denver traffic.
